Manchester United are currently in advanced talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the potential transfer of midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
The Uruguay international joined Les Parisiens from Sporting Lisbon last summer and he made 37 appearances in his debut campaign with them.
Ugarte was a regular starter during the first half of the season, but his playing time drastically reduced during the back end of the campaign.
He was an unused substitute on 14 occasions and reports now claim that he is prepared to secure a new challenge away from Parc des Princes.
PSG are also open to sanctioning his departure. They are preparing to make a huge outlay to land Joao Neves from Benfica in the coming days.
Meanwhile, United have entered advanced talks with PSG over Ugarte and are optimistic of landing him ahead of Manchester City and Barcelona.
PSG spent around €60m to land his services last summer. It could take at least €50m to persuade the French champions into a transfer deal.
