Chelsea winger Pedro Neto has sent a message to the fans following his recent move from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Portuguese was signed by the Blues for £52 million from Wolves and he was introduced at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Neto has now revealed his ambition to help the Blues reach the top of the Premier League, he told the club's official website:
"I want to do my best, help the team achieve their goals, and put Chelsea where they deserve to be: at the top."
The 24-year-old managed 13 goal contributions from 24 games for Wolves last term. He was largely in the treatment room.
Injuries have drastically limited his progress in the past few years and this could be a potential concern for the Blues too.
On his day, Neto is one of the best wingers in the Premier League, but he will need to stay fit for an extended period.
Chelsea have taken a gamble with the huge spend and it remains to be seen whether he can remain unscathed this season.
