Mikel Arteta has just compared Arsenal star with Lionel Messi

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has compared Bukayo Saka to Lionel Messi following his sublime goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The England international started the campaign brightly with a goal and an assist. He scored in the second half with a trademark finish, cutting inside from the left flank.

When asked about the strike, Arteta compared the Gunners graduate with Messi and said that quality players have the ability to score the same kind of goals everytime.

Arteta said: "You know with Messi, I know he’s going to come here and put the ball there because he does it all the time - that’s the quality of the players."

Arsenal started their league campaign with a 2-0 win over Wolves. Kai Havertz and Saka found the back of the net in the first and second half respectively.

The Gunners will be in action next against Aston Villa at Villa Park. They will be aiming to avenge the 2-0 loss at the Emirates earlier this year.
