Arsenal are most likely to keep Reiss Nelson at the club despite interest from Leicester City, according to The Athletic.
The 24-year-old was tipped to leave the Gunners earlier this summer following an approach from the Foxes.
The Midlands outfit proposed to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy and were confident of landing him too.
However, nothing has happened in the past few weeks and The Athletic claim that Nelson is expected to stay put.
Emile Smith Rowe left the club on a permanent deal to Fulham earlier this summer while Fabio Vieira has been loaned out to Porto.
Eddie Nketiah is also expected to leave for Crystal Palace. He has already been given permission to complete his transfer.
This has drastically reduced the attacking quality on the bench and Arsenal are prepared to keep Nelson at the current point.
Nelson could still be permitted to leave before the deadline, suppose the Gunners manage to recruit a marquee winger.
