Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee could push for a new challenge away from the club in January, according to Calciomercato.
The Netherlands international signed for the Red Devils from Bologna last summer and he had the perfect beginning with a goal off the bench on debut.
However, he has not scored again for the club in 10 appearances and he is now playing second fiddle to Rasmus Hojlund for the no.9 role.
Calciomercato claim that Zirkzee would gladly accept a return to Serie A at the turn of the year. Juventus are said to be interested in him.
The Bianconeri could make a genuine proposal for the Dutchman if United open the door for a loan deal with a possible option to buy.
Zirkzee could be handed a surprise start in midweek when United take on Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Bruno Fernandes is suspended for the game after his sending off at Porto and Zirkzee could be deployed from the number 10 role.
