Manchester United winger Antony is reportedly close to joining Real Betis on loan for the rest of the campaign.
The Brazil international has fallen out-of-favour at United over the last 18 months. His fortunes have not changed under new manager Ruben Amorim.
This has opened the door for his potential exit and it is claimed that Real Betis are in advanced negotiations with United to secure a temporary transfer.
Betis are prepared to guarantee regular playing time to the former Ajax man, but United will have to pay the majority of his wages during the loan stint.
The Red Devils were hoping for a better proposal on the table from elsewhere, but Antony has a clear mindset to join Betis for the current campaign.
The decision could be worthwhile for the Red Devils, considering Antony has been a fringe player.
A run of good scoring form could increase his transfer value ahead of his permanent exit in the summer.
