Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Jorginho and Kieran Tierney have played their final games at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners registered a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League today. Declan Rice scored the winner in the 55th minute.
Speaking after the game, Arteta was pressed on the futures of Jorginho and Tierney, who came on as late substitutes in the league encounter.
In response, he said: "We had a few in the dressing room that is probably is going to be the last time that they put that shirt on at Emirates Stadium."
Arsenal have guaranteed Champions League football for next season after today's win. They are on 71 points and could end up with 74 next weekend.
The Gunners face 20th-placed Southampton on the road and should be clear-cut favourites to register a heavy win over the South Coast side.
Arsenal have a busy summer ahead with plenty of signings expected. A marquee striker and a versatile winger could be among the priorities.
