Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes is set to pen a new long-term deal until June 2030, according to BBC Sport.
The Brazil international has been one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League and the Gunners are set to reward him.
Magalhaes was injured for the final phase of the previous campaign, but continues to be valued highly by the Gunners.
His current deal does not expire until June 2027, but the club are close to finalising a new contract until the summer of 2030.
Arsenal are also engaged in negotiations over an improved deal for William Saliba amid the transfer interest from Real Madrid.
The club are likewise discussing fresh terms with Bukayo Saka and remain confident of reaching an agreement pretty soon.
Arsenal are set for a busy summer transfer window. They have already sealed an agreement to land Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi.
A marquee striker and a versatile winger are among other targets. A back-up goalkeeper and a centre-back could be signed too.
