Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur were keen on signing him during the winter transfer window.
The Scotland international was widely fancied to join the north London giants in January, but a deal did not materialise before the transfer deadline.
Robertson has now confirmed the transfer interest from Spurs and added that he made the decision to stay with the Reds for the rest of the season.
He said: "There was obviously interest from Spurs in January… but the decision was that I wanted to stay."
He added that the Anfield giants have given him everything and he will make a formal announcement on any decision regarding his future.
He added: "This club has given me everything and I've given this club everything. Now as soon as I decide my future, it will be announced."
Robertson's current deal with the Reds expire in June this year and the club have yet to convince him to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal.
