Mark Bosnich set to return

Mark Bosnich set to return

04 June 2008 - 09:33

The retired keeper is set to make a return to professional football, and is reportedly training with QPR. He has offers from clubs in Australia.

  • Arsenal preparing third bid for Spanish star
  • Chelsea ready to sell Christopher Nkunku to Man Utd for £35m?

  • Mark Bosnich, the former Aussie keeper, was banned for nine months in 2002 after a positive cocaine test.

The ex-Manchester United and Aston Villa custodian retired in 2003, though he spent time training with QPR last season.

“One thing I realised in my time at QPR was that I can still do it.”

He said that an Australian side has made him an offer, though he wants to stay in England.

“I’ve got my hunger back. I have a few options and I’ll explore them all."

“A comeback is also down to whether people want me. I have baggage.”
