AC Milan sign Zambrotta

AC Milan have completed the signing of Italy international midfielder Gianluca Zambrotta from Barcelona. The former Juventus man had always made his feelings known that he was pining for a move back to his homeland.

Last month, a statement from AC Milan said that the 2006 FIFA World Cup winner had already put pen to paper, but gave no further details of the contract.



Zambrotta has reportedly signed a new deal for four years worth an estimated £80,000 a year as Milan continue their rebuilding programme for next year.
