  • He told the Daily Express: "I have been contacted to tell me of the interest in Milan from the Rangers coach and I'm now awaiting the transfer proposal.

"There is now the strong possibility that Milan can go to Rangers.

"It's true that clubs in Germany and Turkey also want Milan, but I think his style of play is suited to Rangers and the Scottish game. He's a typical number nine.

"There's no doubt that if Milan had the choice between clubs in Turkey, Germany and Scotland then he'd prefer to go to Rangers.

"Right now Sporting have told Milan that he can look for another club and the fee is €2 million (£1.58m)."
