Spurs to move for Santana

Spurs to move for Santana

20 June 2008 - 08:54

Tottenham are on the verge of completing a shock move for Fiorentina winger Mario Santana. It is understood that Juande Ramos is prepared to pay up to £5 million to land the Argentina international.

  • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
  • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen
  • His club Fiorentina have confirmed that a move away from the Viola is now very likely.

"It is a figure that satisfies us because Santana does not feature in our plans for the 2008/09 season," Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino said in The Sun.

"I expect Santana to join Spurs within the next few days as he has been offered a three or four-year contract in London."
