Santana won't join Spurs

Fiorentina midfielder Mario Santana has ruled out the possibility of joining Tottenham after there were rumours that he could make a £6 million move from Italy to England. However the Argentinian was quick to rule out the move.

“Me to Tottenham? So many things are said and written but I am fine in Florence,” Santana told Stadio News.



“My mother showed me the papers but I don't know anything at all.



“My agent would have called me if there was anything concrete and now I am hoping to return to Italy on June 30 because our pre-season begins on July 7.



“The interest of other clubs pleases me because it shows that I have done well.”
