Arsenal rule out Martins move

Arsenal will not be making a move for Nigerian forward Obafemi Martins this summer, according to the Gunners' boss Arsene Wenger - who admitted he likes Martins - but will not make a move for the player.

It was understood that Martins was being linked with a move to Arsenal for around £15 million, but Arsene Wenger has moved to rule out reports that Martins will be moving to the Emirates Stadium.



Kevin Keegan had a falling out with Obafemi last year, but moved very quickly to rebuild relationships with the talented forward.



Now Martins looks set to stay at Newcastle.
