Bullard fights for new deal

16 August 2008 - 11:24

Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard has insisted he will fight as hard as he can to work for a new contract at Craven Cottage; and has rejected rumours that he is desperate to leave the club.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • “They said they weren’t willing to give me an extended contract, so that gives me no option but to get my head down. That’s not a problem,” stated Bullard.

“I like the lifestyle here and playing for Fulham.

“Let’s get one thing straight, I want to sign for Fulham. Hopefully, in time, they will extend my contract.

“Maybe you could look at it as a kick up the backside to get me motivated.”
