Fabio Capello has revealed the secrets behind the successful 4-1 victory over Croatia on Wednesday night. Capello revealed the side have spent the last 10 days together working as a team, and went into the game full of courage.
"The secret is we stayed 10 days together," Capello told Setanta Sports. "I said yesterday, step-by-step, we'll be better.
"Today, we played with lots of confidence and without fear from the first minute and we played very, very good football.
"The players played very well and [made] a little mistake only when they scored a goal. But we played very well and like a team with a lot of courage.
"Usually, when England play away, it's not with courage. This team, we played technically well, but with confidence and courage and it's very, very important."
