Fabregas offered new Arsenal deal

27 November 2008 - 08:09

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas could be set to become the club's highest ever player. The newly appointed captain has reportedly been offered a deal worth in the region of £100,000 a week to stay at the Emirates.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Cesc Fabregas earlier this week was appointed the captain of Arsenal, taking the role from William Gallas.

Now the Spaniard is set to be rewarded for his patience and will be given a new bumper deal worth a whopping £100,000 a week.

Fabregas has apparently rejected the interest of Barcelona and Real Madrid more than once in the last year, and now Arsene Wenger wants to make the Spaniard his biggest earner.
