Bendtner staying at Arsenal

Nicklas Bendtner has rejected reports that he could be set for a January exit from Arsenal, insisting that he wants to stay at the club and fight for a first-team place.

Bendtner said: “I’ve always thought my style is suited to the English game and that was one of the main reasons I chose Arsenal ahead of other clubs when I was 16.



“My positioning is good and I am also strong. These are all attributes for a good striker.”
