Bayern Munich are in the market for Zenit St Petersburg star Anatoliy Tymoshchuk. It is expected that Bayern Munich will offer £3.5 million for the player.
Zenit are known to be reluctant to sell any of their star players, but Tymoshchuk may be allowed to leave.
Bayern Munich's general manager Uli Hoeness quipped: "We had a very informative chat. It is not about signing the player this winter. We are talking about next summer.
"There are still a few things to clear up and the player would like a bit of time to think."
