Adel Taarabt is regarded by many to be one of the best young players to hail from France over the last few years. The youngster is currently playing on the fringes of the Tottenham first-team squad, but has not appeared regularly since making a move from French Ligue side Lens.

  • Taarabt is regarded by many as one of the best young players in France, renowned for his silky passing abilities and dribbling skills.



    Strangely, under Juande Ramos, Taarabt was frozen out of Tottenham's footballing plans, despite an array of stunning performances in the youngster's first few games for Spurs.



    Only recently has Taarabt seen his chances reappear at Spurs again, as Harry Redknapp labelled him as a footballing genius.



    In the games Taarabt has played, he has always made a stunning impact.



    Last season, Taarabt's chances were limited to substitute roles.



    Taarabt has represented his country, France, at all youth levels, despite the player actually being from Morocco.



    Taarabt has been hailed as 'the new Zinedine Zidane', Now aged 19, the player will really be hoping to be pushing for first-team football soon, otherwise he is likely to make a move elsewhere.
