Roque Santa Cruz would apparently sign for Liverpool if the opportunity presented itself. It is believed that Manchester City and the Reds are hot favorites to land the talented striker from Blackburn.

A close friend of the Paraguayan revealed: “He’d still fancy City but does not know if Mark Hughes will stay so a move to Anfield would appeal. He likes the idea of a Spanish manager.”



It is understood that both Manchester City and Liverpool are both battling to sign the Paraguayan.
