Newcastle bring back Kinnear

Newcastle bring back Kinnear

15 July 2009 - 06:16

The Newcastle United management has ditched Alan Shearer and is set to bring back Joe Kinnear as the new boss today. This decision is certain to infuriate the already angry Newcastle United fans who had backed Shearer to lead them.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has asked Kinnear to come back and take charge at St.James' Park. The 62-year old had managed 26 matches for the Toons last season, before he suffered a heart attack and stepped down.

Eventhough Kinnear has a history of health related issues, he recently stated that, <i>"I've gone from bad to being much, much better than I was. Things are working out well."</i> But, the Newcastle United players are not happy with Mike Ashley's decision to bring back Kinnear.

Lately, goalkeeper Steve Harper claimed that Newcastle are 'dying a slow death'. Captain Nicky Butt admitted that relegation and the uncertainty followed has brought the toughest period of his career.
