Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti believes that Manchester City have some way to go before they can consider themselves as serious challengers to the for the Premiership. The ambitious side have been busy in the transfer market this summer.

  • However, Ancelotti feels that the signings of Gareth Barry, Emmanuel Adebayor, Roque Santa Cruz and Carlos Tevez may not be even enough to secure a Premiership challenge.



    "They have bought a lot of players. It is a new team," Ancelotti told Sky Sports News.



    "If they have the experience for the title, I don't know.



    "This year, I don't know if they are ready to challenge for the title."
