The Spanish giants, Real Madrid, has prized Xabi Alonso away from Liverpool for a deal worth 30 million euros. Liverpool has confirmed the deal in their official website.
After weeks of negotiations, Liverpool has finally agreed the transfer of Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid. The 27-year old has signed the personal contract worth 4.5 million euros for 4 years.
The transfer will happen this week once the player completes the medical.
