After scoring the controversial goal that cancelled out Robbie Keane's opener in the France vs Ireland World Cup play off yesterday, William Gallas has claimed that he had no idea Thierry Henry handballed in the build up to the goal.
Gallas headed the ball home after Thierry Henry controlled the ball twice with his hand, before crossing for the centre back.
Gallas said of Thierry's handball: "It all happened so quickly. I received the ball from Thierry. It happened so quickly that I couldn't see (if the ball hit his hand)."
