Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly in discussions to bring Borussia Dortmund's star defender Neven Subotic to Old Trafford. It is not yet known whether the player will join this January or in the summer.
Subotic is regarded as one of the best centre backs in the Bundesliga, where he has time and time again impressed with excellent performances for his club.
Subotic has 9 international caps for Serbia to his name, and is expected to appear in the World Cup in South Africa this year.
Subotic only just signed a new contract last summer with Dortmund, but United are ready to offer £10 million for a player many have earmarked as a successor to Rio Ferdinand.
