Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is weighing up a 25 million GBP move for Lassana Diarra of Real Madrid. The midfield battler is one of many names on Sir Alex's wishlist.
Ferguson has been promised a 75 million GBP war chest to spend on new talent, and Diarra is one of the names at the very top of his list.
Diarra is not guaranteed a first-team place under new boss Jose Mourinho, who reportedly said that every player in the squad still has to battle for their place in the first-team.
Many have said that Man Utd need to find a defensive midfield partner for Darren Fletcher, and Diarra is the best option.
