Chelsea offer Sturridge to Spurs?

Chelsea have reportedly offered Danny Sturridge as part of a transfer package to lure Luka Modric to Stamford Bridge from Tottenham. According to reports, Chelsea have offered £27m plus the forward.

Sturridge impressed last season on loan at Bolton, and was widely expected to stay at the Blues this year and fight for his place in the first team.

However, a report on Sunday morning indicates that Tottenham would be more interested in a deal should Sturridge be part of the package.

Chelsea submitted another official offer on Saturday afternoon and Tottenham will be considering this over the coming days.
