Preview: Man City vs Boro

Man City have a 100 percent home record in the Premier League, and Middlesbrough have lost three of their last four away game travels. The match at the city of Manchester stadium will be a mid-table special and Man City will be keen to get another 3 points on the board as they have had a very impressive Premiership start.

Man City have won seven and lost just two of 10 in all competitions this season, whilst Middlesbrough have lost the last three away league and cup matches; failed to score in all three.

If they play Micah Richards and Nedum Onuoha will be making their 50th Premier League appearances for Man City.

Tuncay, Mido and Dong Gook will all be given late fitness tests, with Tom Craddock the only confirmed striker. Julio Arca remains out and is joined by back-up keeper, Australian Brad Jones who is out for 6-8 weeks.

Man City striker Rolando Bianchi remains out and joins long term injury Valeri Bojinov on the bench. Darius Vassell also has a slight injury and is likely to also miss out. Andreas Isaksson is fit for the first time this season.

Man City 2-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough are going to have a tough trip to Manchester and without their three main strikers are going to struggle to find goals. Man City, on the other hand, are in a good spell of form. Elano impressed last week and will be eager to carry on his good run of form. Another win for Man City is on the cards as they push for European qualification.
