Miralem Pjanic to Tottenham?

Tottenham have joined Aston Villa in the race to sign highly rated midfielder Miralem Pjanic from Lyon this summer. The 21-year-old Bosnian midfielder has been linked with a move worth around 14m GBP.

Lyon boss Remi Garde confirmed that there had been some interest: “Mira will not go away, I don’t think so. I rely on him a lot. I’m not sure if we have received any genuine proposals for him.”

According to reports in England, Pjanic has already been in the capital for talks with Tottenham.

Spurs have unusually quiet in the transfer market so far this summer, but on Sunday were not only linked with a move for Pjanic but also for Arsenal target Juan Mata.
