Arsenal set to bid for Marvin Martin

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin, as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas who looks set to leave the Emirates for Barcelona by Monday afternoon.

Martin is regarded as one of the most promising young midfielders in France, and has previously hinted that his future may lie away from Sochaux.

The Gunners are believed to be considering a 5.5m GBP offer for the centre midfielder.

Martin has played three times for his country, already scoring two goals.
