Tottenham renew Leandro Damiao interest

Tottenham have rekindled their long running interest in Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao, despite the forward only recently signing a new contract at Internacional.

The Brazilian international striker is valued by his club at around 14m GBP, and Spurs are desperate to sign the 22 year old who has been on Harry Redknapp's shortlist for over 3 months.

However, Tottenham are believed to be some way off of Internacional's valuation, instead tabling an offer of around 8.5m GBP.

Damiao has two caps for Brazil; making his first appearance for his country in a friendly against Scotland at the Emirates Stadium.
