David Bentley heads for West Ham

David Bentley will leave Tottenham today, and will join West Ham as a replacement for Scott Parker.

Bentley has no future at White Hart Lane and fell out of favour with Harry Redknapp at the end of last season after some poor performances.

However, Bentley is still very highly rated by some and West Ham have taken a gamble and are discussing a permanent move for the midfielder.
