Tottenham captain out for two months

Tottenham captain Michael Dawson will be on the sidelines for two months. The player has sustained an injury to his achilles.

Tottenham missed out on signing Gary Cahill in the summer transfer window, and now are struggling for replacements in the middle of their defence.

It is believed that Dawson should return back to action in mid November.

Sebastian Bassong could be recalled into the first team squad.
