Adebayor delighted after Tottenham brace
Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is convinced that his two goals against Liverpool have turned him into a Spurs legend, despite his prior Arsenal connections.
The Togo international joined Tottenham during the summer and after his first Spurs goal last week against Wolves at Molineux, Adebayor has scored another two goals against Liverpool at the weekend.
Adebayor said after his impressive performance: âIt is always important to score the first at home and I had already scored away.
âI knew the fans already love me because that is what they are looking for â players to score goals.
âHopefully I will keep the hard work going.â
