Alcantara will stay at Barcelona

Hot property Thiago Alcantara will stay at Barcelona, according to his father. The player has found himself drop down the pecking order after Cesc Fabregas arrived from Arsenal.

Many Spanish press outlets had suggested Alcantara would one day join Arsenal, but it appears he will be staying at the Camp Nou for the time being.

"My advice is to enjoy the football and always live for the moment," said his Dad, former footballer Mazinho.

"So he will be many years with Barca."
