Tottenham to move for Cahill in January

Bolton defender Gary Cahill is on a list of transfer targets for Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp once the transfer window reopens in January. Spurs missed out on Cahill in August as the two clubs were unable to agree a fee.
"We couldn't get a deal done for Cahill," Harry Redknapp said in the Sunday Mirror. "That's not to say we won't try again in January. If the chairman can reach an agreement with Bolton I'd love to bring him here."
Arsenal are also interested in Cahill, and famously missed out on the England centre back after Bolton laughed off the Gunners' offer for the defender.
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the player.
As Cahill's contract is set to expire in July 2012, the Bolton centre half is almost certainly on his way out of the Reebok Stadium in January.
