West Ham keen on Squillaci

West Ham are keen on signing Sebastien Squillaci, the Arsenal defender who is currently out of favour with the Gunners and set to leave in January.

The Frenchman has fallen down the pecking order after the arrival of Per Mertesacker, and is seemingly fifth choice defender at the Emirates.


West Ham could make an audacious loan move for the former Sevilla man, with a view to a permanent deal next summer, worth around 2m GBP.
