Arsenal full backs face spell on sidelines
Arsenal defenders Kieran Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson will face some time on the sidelines recovering from injury. Gibbs will be missing from action for up to five weeks, whilst former Charlton man Jenkinson will be out with a back injury.
Wenger said: "We have had some bad news because we have lost two full-backs over the [international] break.
"At first he [Gibbs] had an abdominal strain - certainly caused by the fact he had a hernia already."
One better piece of news for Arsenal is the imminent return to action of midfielder Abou Diaby, who is available for a return to the first team for the first time in over five months.
