Arsenal could still move for Lucho
Marseille midfielder Lucho Gonzalez could still make a move to Arsenal during the January transfer window, if Gunners' boss Arsene Wenger is interested. Arsenal were linked with a loan swoop for the player in the summer.
A move failed to materialize for the Argentinian international though, and Lucho has since stayed at Marseille and finds himself still considering a move to England if a move presents itself.
"Arsenal? It's a great club who we have already played twice in this season's Champions League," he told Portuguese newspaper Mais Futebol.
"I feel I will continue at Marseille because I have signed a contract here, but it all depends on the offers and Marseille's interest.
"If there is a good club that comes in for me then what will happen remains to be seen."
Gonzalez had been suggested as a possible replacement for Cesc Fabregas during the summer, but Arsenal instead turned to Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta and Lucho was forced to stay in France.
