Capello lined up as Anzhi Makhachkala coach

Fabio Capello is being lined up as Anzhi Makhachkala's next boss once the Italian steps down from his role as England national team manager after Euro 2012. The ambitious Russian side want the former Real Madrid boss to take control of first team affairs.

Anzhi are currently on the look out for a world class coach and Roberto Carlos has been taking charge of first team affairs.


The ambitious Russian side are bankrolled by Suleyman Kerimov, the billionaire investor, who hopes to turn Anzhi into a top European side by 2014.


Capello has not yet decided his next destination after he leaves the England role, but it is understood that he would like to stay in football for the time being.
