Tottenham will not be splashing the cash in the January transfer window, as they are happy with their current squad of players. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp revealed in an interview that no new signings would be made.

Spurs have been linked with a move for David Beckham, but it appears that the former England midfielder will join Paris St Germain in the coming weeks. Tottenham have also been linked with a number of defenders.

But Redknapp thinks his current squad is fine, and will not be in the market unless absolutely necessary.

Redknapp said: "I haven’t got anybody I could stand here and say ‘Yeah, we want to get him’. It’s so difficult, where do you play them? You’ve got people like Sandro who can’t get in the mid-field, but he’s in the Brazilian team, so it’s not easy.

"There’s players but you’re not going to get them, I don’t really see where I’m going to improve us too much with the players that might be available."
