Arshavin heading for Arsenal exit door?
Arsenal winger Andrei Arshavin will be allowed to leave the club in January, with Anzhi, Bayer Leverkusen and former club Zenit all interested in the Russian. The Gunners are willing to part with Andrei for around 7.5m GBP.
Arsenal feel that Arshavin has not fulfilled the huge potential since arriving at the Emirates, apart from glimmers of brilliance, most notably the four goal salvo against Liverpool two years ago.
Wenger will now let Arshavin leave for a move abroad; a more lucrative deal for the Russian, who wants one last big pay day before his career comes to a close.
It is understood that Anzhi are currently in the hot seat to sign his coveted signature in January, but Leverkusen will also offer an attractive proposal.
