Chelsea admire Thiago Alcantara

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas wants to follow up his rebuilding operation at Stamford Bridge, by bringing in Spanish youngster Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona next summer.

Alcantara has struggled for first team action this year, since the arrival of Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal.


But Chelsea are ready to pay as much as 6m GBP to land the midfielder and pair him alongside fellow Spanish youth international Oriel Romeu at the heart of his new look midfield.
