Alexandre Pato to join Man City in Tevez swap?

AC Milan representatives have admitted that discussions for wantaway Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez are well under way; and a report leaked to the Italian press suggests that Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato could be heading to Man City in the opposite direction.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini insists that no direct replacement will be required for Tevez once the former Corinthians and Man Utd man leaves the Etihad Stadium.


For a short while though, City were linked with Napoli striker Edinson Cavani.


However, this new speculation is quite interesting considering that Alexandre Pato is reportedly interested in a move to the Premier League, whilst Carlos Tevez appears to have just two options, and both of them will see him end up in Serie A.
