Man City chasing Mateo Kovacic

Manchester City are heating up their pursuit of Mateo Kovacic, the Dinamo Zagreb attacking midfielder. The 17 year old Austrian born youngster is very highly rated in Croatia and plays for the country's U21 side.

City will be making an offer of around 7m GBP for the youngster, who has just forced himself into Dinamo's first team.


Even Croatia's under 17 manager said of Kovacic: "I haven't seen a youngster with so much talent since the days of Robert Prosinečki."
