Macheda eyes Man United exit door
Federico Macheda will ask for a loan move away from Old Trafford come January. The player's agent confirmed that the Italian forward is looking for more regular first team football, and will leave Man Utd on loan.
Macheda spent last season on loan in his homeland with Sampdoria, but failed to impress in a short period back in Italy.
The striker shot to fame back in 2009, when his late goal against Aston Villa helped United secure the Premier League title.
A number of clubs from abroad are monitoring Macheda, with Genoa and Verona both interested in a loan switch.
Giovanni Bia, Macheda's agent, said: "I spoke with Ferguson last week.
"I believe that Federico will play somewhere else.
"He can’t go on any longer having just 15 or 20 minutes on the pitch. He needs more space to play."
