Everton sign Landon Donovan
Everton sign Landon Donovan
Everton completed a two month loan deal for Landon Donovan yesterday, and the American will link up with the Toffees for his second spell starting from next week. The US international enjoyed his last spell at Goodison in 2009.
The American international has arrived at Goodison Park as Everton find themselves without a regular goalscorer, with Louis Saha dealing with a regular injury problem and Tim Cahill has not scored for over 10 months in the league.
David Moyes has now turned to Donovan to fix the poor form in front of goal of the Toffees, and the striker wrote on Twitter: "Once a Toffee, always a Toffee."
There are reports that a permanent deal could be agreed next summer.
