Tottenham to make bid for Ola Toivonen

Tottenham are preparing a 6.5m GBP offer for Swedish striker Ola Toivonen, the talented forward who has been linked with a move to the Premier League several times in recent years.

Arsenal and West Ham are both interested in the striker, but it appears that Harry Redknapp are in pole position to land the striker.


The Swede has a contract with Eindhoven until 2014, but has always hinted he would like to move to England.


The 25 year old is currently a first team regular at PSV Eindhoven, and the club are hoping to keep their star striker.
